Grande concerto di Capodanno al Teatro Verdi di Firenze con le tre orchestre della Scuola di Fiesole: Giovanile, Galileo e dei Ragazzi. E’ la prima volta senza Piero Farulli e il concerto sarà dedicato a lui.

Comprende la Sinfonia del Nabucco verdiano, due Danze ungheresi di Brahms e Valse triste di Sibelius, più pagine di Glinka, Ketèlbey, Rimsky-Korsakov. E the young person’s guide to the orchestra di Britten in cui Lorenzo Cinatti, nuovo sovrintendente della Scuola, fa da voce recitante.
